Private Sector Housing Enforcement Officer

Salary up to £35,508 per annum

37 Hours per week

About the role

Runnymede is looking for a newly qualified or experienced housing standards officer to join our team.

The team thrives on the shared challenges that this area of work brings and enjoys an interesting and varied caseload. As a valued member of the team, you will have the opportunity to deal with a range of regulatory work with the full support of the lead officer.

About you

  • Hold a Degree in Environmental Health, (those due to qualify imminently will be considered) or another relevant qualification
  • Experience in Private Sector Housing an advantage but not essential
  • Able to engage effectively with landlords, agents and private tenants
  • Competent in the application of HHSRS
  • Full driving licence

  • Hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
